I am a consultant oesophagogastric cancer and laparoscopic surgeon. I am also the Upper GI cancer Lead for Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I did my fellowship in Minimally invasive oesophagectomy (MIO) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, USA with Professor J Luketich who pioneered the surgery. This is the biggest centre in the world for MIO. I was also trained in Barrett’s surveillance, Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) for early oesophageal cancer by Professor B Jobe in Pittsburgh, USA.
