Dr Zarnie Khadjesari
Senior Lecturer in Health Sciences
Zarnie joined the School of Health Sciences at UEA in April 2018, as Senior Lecturer in Health Promotion. She is a health services researcher, with a BSc and MSc in Health Sciences from the University of York and a PhD in Primary Care and Population Health from University College London. Her expertise is in digital health research and implementation science. The current focus of her research is to optimise the uptake of digital interventions via the electronic health record. Her career to date has focussed on the development, evaluation and implementation of digital interventions for supporting people with reducing their drinking. Zarnie has funded her training and research through project grants and personal fellowships, i.e. MRC Studentship, NIHR School for Primary Care Research Fellowship and King’s Improvement Science Fellowship.
